How to Whiten Your Face

One of the best traditional methods of whitening skin, particularly the face, is with papaya. This is because papain, an enzyme contained in the papaya, helps to lighten, soften and exfoliate the skin. If used regularly, papaya will also reduce the appearance of brown spots and freckles, resulting in a clearer complexion. There are many commercial beauty products that contain papaya. However, preparing your own is a simple process that does not require special materials. The product you create at home will be more economical than any you can purchase.

Instructions
Remove all of the papaya's peel with a small, sharp knife and cut it in pieces, removing the seeds.

Blend the pieces of papaya at medium speed in a blender for approximately 30 seconds. It will form a thick mash. Make sure it is entirely smooth with no lumps.

Clean your face with water and pat it dry with a towel. Smear the mashed papaya all over your face, except for the area around eyes. Use as much of the papaya as you can, making a fairly thick mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes.
Wash the mashed papaya from your face with water that is comfortably warm. Dry your face, then apply a moisturizer.

Repeat the procedure every other day. Your skin will be noticeably whiter in approximately three weeks.
